Here at the lovely setting of Lapalala Wilderness are My and Elin working hard with finding background information on WESSA, EE and The Millenium Goals etc. The thought of being here half of the time already is mind boggling. We have been on many adventures and have been able to experience South Africa in all its complexity, and now we are ready to get started on our work! We are writing an essay about Lapalala Wilderness School (LWS)'s impact in the participatory schools, and are developing questionnaires that will help LWS to improve their work towards environmental sustainability in South Africa.
The staff here at Lapalala are wonderful and very welcoming, their kitchen is heavenly and our stay in the small village Suncity is very peaceful. We hope that we can offer this hardworking organisation some help these upcoming weeks. This weekend we'll just melt down in the pages of our books; something we've been looking forward to.
